The Ultimate Small Frame Vespa Clutch From Newfren



Finding the perfect clutch setup for use on the small frame Vespa’s has just become a whole lot easier, thanks to Newfren, the Italian clutch manufacturers. Imported by VE (UK) this new unit is their most advanced clutch assembly yet for the classic Scooter.

Featuring 24 springs at 30 degree intervals set in to a solid billet housing, which has been CNC machined to ensure the highest level of quality, the clutch assembly allows the user to vary the amount of pressure in the clutch by removing the smaller springs to make the unit a 12 spring assembly. Further adjustment can be made by the removal of the laser cut steel ring in the base of the clutch bell. This excellent design of clutch unit ensures a more consistent friction plate pressure across the whole clutch compared to conventional units.

The 4 plate assembly features oversized friction surfaces to help alleviate slipping, combined with a modified hardened central hub for the upmost reliability available.

Sito Exhaust For Vespa Rally 180



VE (UK) are pleased to announce that Sito, Italian exhaust manufacturers have re-introduced their replacement standard exhaust system for the Vespa Rally 180.

Purists will love the news that Sito have reproduced the Rally 180 system, as in it's own right, it is a unique system designed exclusively for the Rally 180.

The exhaust is a direct replacement for the original Vespa system and is produced from mild steel, finished in a clear lacquer. All in all, a simple cost effective replacement system to give any Vespa Rally 180 a new lease of life.

Turbo Kits Turbo Max Variator Kits For Maxi Scooters



The arrival of the Turbo Kits range of Turbo Max performance variators, signals a new direction at VE (UK). The Turbo Kit Variators use a alternative method to operate conventional variators.

Turbo Kits' Evo2 range of variators break form the normal roller configuration, and instead Turbo feature linear shifting "finger" style weights around more of the variators circumference to maintain a better balance of the unit. In turn, the fingers push against a smooth inner bell in a transverse manner allowing smoother take up of the engines power, increasing acceleration and offering improved performance.

The Turbo range of variators are available for Yamaha T-Max 500, Piaggio Leader 125 engines, Piaggio Quasar 250/300 engines, Piaggio Master 400/500 engines, Suzuki Burgman 400 >2007, and Yamaha X-Max/X-City.

VE (UK) is pleased to announce the arrival of adjustable front and rear damper units for the Piaggio Vespa GT/GTS/GTV range of scooters.

These new damper units are finished in a sporty white with matching coil spring with red adjuster platforms, and are an ideal replacement for owners who wish to have the facility to adjust their suspension feel to suit their riding, or to replace worn out units. Supplied as individually with the required adjustment spanner. Please note - rear fitment on the GT/GTS/GTV machines is a pair (2).

New Classic Scooter Dampers



VE (UK) have quality new damper units for older classic scooters. Available now for Lambretta Series 2 and the Vespa Sportique/Rally/150 Sprint/150 Super/150 GL/GS150 machines.

The Lambretta Series 2 scooters require a longer rear damper than the later Series 3 machines, and this new offering offers the end user just that, a damper designed purely for the Series 2. Finished with a black body with matching coil spring, the unit offers owners a simple, quality product that is specific to the Lambretta Series 2.

For the Vespa Sportique/Rally/150 Sprint/150 Super/150 GL/GS150 machines, replacement front dampers are normally plastic shrouded. The Turiste

Their design epitomises the look of and styling that is true to the 60’s style of Trench coat whilst combining the modern features that are expected of Jackets today. This jacket would not look out of place on the shoulders of Mrs Peel from the Avengers.

SIP PX Disc/Grimeca PX Disc Calipers



With every performance upgrade to improve the Vespa PX ranges speed and acceleration there is a need to also upgrade the braking system to match. This area is very often overlooked by owners, leaving their machine underbraked for the performance of their scooter.

SIP Germany, produce an uprated caliper for use either with the PX disc, or a PX with a Grimeca front disc upgrade, which are available through VE (UK), an authorised reseller of SIP products.

These brake calipers are manufactured from solid aluminium to a very high degree of precision and features an uprated brake piston of 31.5mm ensuring an increase in braking power. In addition to the increaded piston diameter, SIP have increased the brake pad width, providing a larger braking surface that avoids tilting of the pad whilst in use. The latest manufacturing technologies and high-quality materials make for an outstanding product.

Available in silver, gold, red ,and titanium grey, and with no other modifications required to the original braking system, the calipers are simply exchanged for the original smaller piston unit.
